What to expect in a Consultation

 

The consultation session is an important part of Personal Training.

 

During our consultation together, we will define your short terms and long terms goal. We will look at your current lifestyle, what you like to eat, and your activity level. Everyone is different and has different goals and ways they want to acheive them. Together we will come up with training and eating strategies that will best help you achieve sustainable results and enjoy the journey.

 

What to expect at a Training Session

 

I will motivate you to work all the muscles in your body, with balance tools, freeweights, state of the art machines and yoga poses. Resistance training combined with a great stretch will create long lean muscle and help you burn calories.

 

I will let you in on the best approaches to normal balanced eating. Balanced eating does not include any dieting or calorie counting. Diets only promote weight gain. Being a former yo-yo dieter myself I can understand the pattern of disordered eating that diets cause. Normal balanced eating includes all the food groups (yes even chocolate!) and lets you enjoy eating the way you are meant to.
